dc.descriptionQuality assurance project aiming to analyse use of ED short stay unit and identify opportunities for improvement. Goals are to optimize ESSA usage and insuring patient safety. Databases will be used to gather information on : demographic data, ESSA length of stay (LOS), number of "failed" ESSA admissions (admitted to inpatient bed) and representations to ED <72h after ESSA discharge. The actual audit will look at : use of ESSA admission template, charting of regular medications, quality of documentation, reason for failed ESSA admission and ED representations<72h. Based on audit results we will plan interventions to bring forth change.en
